In the fall of 2011, when Cody Barton first heard of Vemma, he was a 17-year-old high school student, flipping burgers at a local fast food restaurant. “While I was working at McDonalds, I realized I didn’t want to work anywhere for an hourly wage again,” says Cody. “I started Vemma as a customer after my sister gave me Verve, and I fell in love with the product. Then I found Alex Morton’s Facebook and met him and Marty Wewerka and got started.”
